Essential Question:

  • Explain why web design should be a major part of the planning process of a website?

Template: Google Doc Web Site Design Template

In order to get a better idea of what works and doesn’t work one must examine existing web sites. Therefore, take a look at the following web sites that share a common interest in content, but display their web pages differently.

While looking at these web sites, keep some things in mind, for example:
  • Too many pictures/not enough
  • Crowded or spaced just right
  • Links/ too many, too few, they don’t work…
  • Navigation (moving around the screen)
